Our 360° Comprehensive Model

At the Phoenix Center, we employ a wrap-around model of care to meet the complex needs of the whole child and family. Working with children, parents, educators and school administrators, we ensure children who have experienced trauma are always receiving the highest level of care, whether they be at home or school.

Counseling

We utilize a strengths-based approach, fostering coping skills, hope and healing. Additionally, Phoenix Center therapists draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, in order to provide clients with the best opportunities for learning and growth. Children’s Groups

Therapeutic groups are offered throughout the week for children and adolescents. These innovative therapy groups utilize music, art, yoga and animal-assisted therapy at both our center and in local schools. More information about our current Children’s Groups can be found here.

Camp Phoenix

Camp Phoenix is a therapeutic camp serving children who have experienced trauma. The therapies offered at Camp Phoenix are shown to increase coping and social skills, decrease depression, anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms. Camp Phoenix provides an innovative therapeutic camp experience found nowhere else. More information can be found here.

Phoenix Parenting

Phoenix Center utilizes research-based curriculums with documented results. More information about current parenting groups can be found here.

Collaborative Partnership with Marble Falls ISD

We provide school-based therapy services and therapeutic groups in Marble Falls ISD schools. This initiative includes music therapy and early childhood intervention at Head Start. In addition, the Phoenix Center offers trauma-informed trainings for educators and administrators. Our staff also provide on-going consultation and support.  


ACCESS FOR ALL

All services provided by the Phoenix Center are offered free of charge to families facing financial challenges. No child is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
